  Well, that makes sense, because in book 1 DD that he would trust Hagrid with his life. And we know how devoted Hagrid is to DD. I had never had thought Hagrid could sacrifice his life for DD, but it's a very good theory. I always imagined people risking his life for Harry, but I supose DD is also in danger, because he could defeat Voldemort, so probably there'll be some attempts to get rid of him too.
