JKR and Terry Pratchett

I was at a Discworld event last weekend, where Terry Pratchett kindly 
but very firmly dealt with people who accuse Rowling of copying from 
him and vice versa and of both of them of copying from Tolkien. The 
ideas that all three writers deal with have been around for 
centuries. It's just that they all put their own particular spin on 
them. Personally I love all three and cant think why people have to 
elevate one and rubbish the others.
