Hints that Sirus would die

When Harry first walks into GP there is this line:  "The other's 
hushed voices were giving Harry an odd feeling of foreboding; it was 
as though they had just entered the house of a dying person." (pg. 60 
Am ed.)  If that's not a hint I've never seen one.  

And of course Sirius was bitten by a silver "snuff" box!
