Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought there was a
book specifically for potions mentioned in one of the
books. I know there has been some speculation about a
Jiggers writting a book, but as I'm not with my books
right now, I can't look it up.

And I do not think that the DA will contiunue as it
was. Dumbledore, after failing Sirius, will wonder
about Lupin and bring him back to Hogwarts as an
assistant to DADA. Then I would see him taking the DA
over from Harry. Harry would not see this as a problem
as he likes Lupin so much.
