I was under the impression that Remus was living with Sirius.  
Apparently his long periods of absence were spent doing something for 
the order.  Hopefully, he was not 'wolfing out' and had plenty of 
Wolfsbane potion.  

Is there a reason why he and Sirius are constantly wearing dismal, 
raggy robes???  I thought Sirius had one of those high-security 
Gringotts vaults (#711, which is not far from #713 where the 
Sorcerer's Stone was kept) with a fair amount of gold.  He bought 
Harry a Firebolt.  I'm sure Molly would not have minded going to 
Diagon Alley and getting them hooked up with some decent rags.
