She didn't say it in the books, JKR said it in an interview. Her
personal statements as to what will and will not happen in the series
are considerd 'good as gold'.

My guess is that this was a guess or speculation on someone's part. I
don't recall this being stated in any book or in any interview. But
someone could have concluded that since a person animagus for reflects
their personality and their patronus is a reflection of their
personality, that the two might be the same.

Just a thought.
