I'm sure that the Malfoy's know Harry is a half-blood. But I also 
imagine that Draco was well informed of the benefits of befriending 
the Famous Harry Potter. I see it as a bit of the pompousness and 
hipocracy that the powerful show, despite all the Malfoy's 
convictions on pure-bloodedness, that doesn't matter if associating 
with a half-blood can make you look good.
