Personally, I think either Dumbledore or Harry HAS to tell Neville. 
Especially, because Voldemort only knows the part of the prophecy 
that refers to both boys. Therefore, there is at least the 
possibility that Voldemort wants to kill both boys because of the 
prophecy, and Neville must IMO be warned. But maybe his grandmother 
already knows and decides to tell him.
