I don't think this has anything to do with Ernie going over to 
Voldemort, I think it's because Ernie has a tendency to be rather 
pompous at times (okay, MOST times), and "the Dark Lord" certainly 
sounds better than Fudge's "Lord... Thingy" ;-)
