Knowledge itself is a weapon besides Voldemort knows there is more to 
the Prophesy but doen't know what that is.  He franticly searching 
for anything he can get his hands on to destroy Harry Potter.  
Everyday LV waits, Harry get stronger and closer to manhood and 
harder to kill.
For all Voldemort knows the Prophesy names the way to kill Harry or 
names the way Harry will kill LV. Voldemort just wants any and all 
info on the future he can find.
