Canon related question: What are the side effets of Veritaserum?
Does anyone recall the specifics mentioned in the books?

There are none that I can recall--according to canon, all it does is force the drinker to tell the truth. I'd imagine that there are, though, or that it is extremely expensive/difficult to make.
