Harry didn't spend the end of term there, but he did spend time in 
the hospital at the end of GoF.  (p699, US) "You will come with me 
to the hospital wing.  I do not want you returning to the dormitory 
tonight....[Sirius] walked with Harry and Dumbledore out of the 
office, accompanying them down a flight of stairs to the hospital 
wing."  He didn't suffer physical damage, but certainly suffered 
emotionally.
