I had a brief discussion about the number of Gryffindors in Harry's year with 
another list member, she said she couldn't recall this point being brought up 
in the dissusions, so I'll post it.

In the pre-yule ball period, there are conversations about who's going with 
whom, and wich are the free to ask out. If there were 2 more Gryffindor 
dormitories, their names, or at least existance, should have been brought up 
as possible dates. If there are more Gryff than stated, the conversations 
don't make sense.

Add this to the lot of contradictory evidence.
