akh: Maybe he could be Gilderoy Lockhart - he certainly hoodwinked Hermione early on. 

Can't find parallels for Jane Fairfax or Mr. Woodhouse (my own 
darling favourite character).  Anyone help?


akh: I'm a big fan of Mr. Woodhouse, too.  I suppose Mrs. Figg MIGHT have some similarities, but she's not nearly as endearing as Mr. Woodhouse.  I'll have to think some more about Jane Fairfax.  Fortunately, I'm on vacation right now, so I can ruminate all I want!
