OMG, so this has been swimming around in my brain for about a week 
and this post clicked something. This is sheer speculation, 
completely raw data, and I have no conclusion, but I was hoping 
someone here could help me make sense of it all.

Lily's eyes are green. Harry has her eyes. This is a big deal over 
and over again. Evans is a Welsh name. The quintessential Welsh name 
from what I understand. (There is a series of mysteries set in rural 
Wales who's protagonist is named Evan Evans and people often joke 
about how truly Welsh he is.)

A very common dragon is the Welsh green. The eyes are a dragon's 
weakest point.
