Possibly because Ron has pretty much been overshadowed by either his
friends or brothers for most of his life. If Hermione becomes

The question is can Ron have a wife that continues to overshadow him
and who would have more concern for the welfare of the wizard world
than for her husband?

And how are you going to create a balance of respect when the wife is
more powerful politically and magically than her husband?
