Very interesting.  I think maybe he would need to be trained up a 
bit before he could do it, but as to whether or not he *is* a meta, 
why not?  He grew the hair back when he *really* wanted to.  And 
even though he tries to hide his scar sometimes, he's admitted it's 
the only part of his appearance he likes.  And who knows, he might 
have gotten a bit of perverse pleasure by having his hair so 
crazy...Vernon *hated* it!
