This is just a wilde theory. I am entirely unable to back it up with
canon and it's only half-developed. We know that talented
leglimancists can plant thoughts (as Voldemort did with Harry when
Harry thought Sirius was in the Ministry of Magic). To what extent
can they plant thoughts? Do you think Snape could plant a thought in
Malfoy's mind, without Malfoy knowing the thought had been planted,
and then Malfoy could pass that thought on to Voldemort? Could Snape
be passing misinformation on to Voldemort using Malfoy as the vessel,
or is that just too far out of the bounds of leglimancy?
