I wasn't sure what I thought of OOTP when I first read
it.  It's so different.  You spend the majority of the
book incredibly frustrated, because that's how the
characters feel.  I reread it later, and liked it
better.

But the reason I know that it's good (to me) is that
every time I pick it up to read a certain portion
(usually the sorting hat song, as I love it) I end up
reading through the entire rest of the book.
