This gives me an opportunity to post an observation I though of 
during my 5th reread of OoP.  Does anyone else notice that the way 
Harry moves to get to his father: over 2, up 1, is the same move that 
a knight makes on a chessboard?  It seems very appropriate given 
Harry's "saving people thing" (to quote Hermione).
