Now, you're losing me. Kneasy commented that there didn't seem to be 
canon evidence of Snape's unrequited feelings for Lily.  The canon 
quoted above certainly supports Snape's feelings about James.  But I 
don't see how this is evidence of Snape's feelings for Lily.  Or her 
feelings for him.
