Yes you are right and I apologize.  I was caught up in the first part 
of your post and read it through without focusing on the end . 

However even if a cure can be found I'm inclined to agree with 
bibphile in his reply to both our posts.  Lupin chose to endanger 
student's lives rather than reveal he broke school rules.
