Shirley's potentially stupid question:
Why would James saving Lily's life explain Harry's patronus?  That's 
a connection that I have totally missed.

BTW, I agree with your "information" and "meat" comments above.  As 
much as I have loved reading all the HP books, I was also somewhat 
disappointed by the lack of *substantive* plot advancement in OoP.  I 
remember reading (last week, I think) a post in which you had 
expressed a similar (but much more elegantly worded) opinion.  

At any rate, if you can explain your patronus comment above, I'd 
greatly appreciate it.
