Not to mention that what we do know of Lockhart's methods strongly 
implies that even if the charm did exist, if he took credit for it 
that would mean that he had probably also memory-charmed the person 
who should really get the credit, which in turn means that it's 
probably lost now and someone else will have to recreate the work of 
the person who originated it.  I don't get the impression Lockhart 
ever bothered to actually LEARN the spells he was taking credit for 
having performed.
