I know I've seen an interview somewhere online wherein JKR stated that a
person did not have to be a prefect to become Head Boy/Girl.  It seems
odd, though, that no one else is familiar with it, so is it a hoax?  I'm
not sure of the link.  If anyone else is familiar with it and can find
it, I'd be grateful.
