And here's a further question: what does Lucius know now? (He won't 
be in Azkaban for long with the Dementors gone). Lucius was there the 
night LV returned. Severus wasn't. LV said that one of his followers 
had fled, one had gone forever. Lucius isn't dumb, he should have 
been able to figure it out - yet when Snape defies Umbridge in his 
Snape-ish way, she says that Lucius had always spoken so highly of 
him.Just because he's nice to Lucius's kid doesn't mean he isn't 
working for the good guys, and you'd think Lucius would be at least 
suspicious.
