Ffi here,
On the short'n'skinny front - I think Harry is, or is going to be, 
quite tall - james is always described as being tall and Harry's 
within an inch in height of him (as Harry notes in Snape's memory) - 
and also, the length of Harry's wand is akin to james's - can't 
remember exactly what it is - something like 9.5 inches - and since 
the length of the wand is akin to the height of a wzard (Ron's is 
about 11 and Hagrid 16inches), then we can assume he's at least 
tall!
