It seems that most people are used to teachers who are regular people 
who teach, and thus should mostly be married, but I wonder if the 
school system JKR is referencing is more like US Catholic schools; 
back in my young days, most of the teachers were members of celibate 
religious orders, so that married teachers were the exception rather 
than the rule. Prof. McGonagal is *so* Sister Mary Discipline, and
