The Lexicon pointed out something else that might help you, this is 
JKR's little world that she wants it. So IMO, because it's her 
world, she may explain how harry came from a Wizard family (his 
father) or she may not think it's very important for us to know. I 
think in book 7, harry will get to see his family tree, like Blacks 
tapestry. Maybe Harry will get his or get to see his when he is 
close to being out of school. Lori
