now Susan:
First off forgive my being thick but what is a "biro" ?  Secondly, 
Hagrid explained in SS/PS that the wizards do not let Muggles know of 
them because they would want them to fix all their "problems" with 
magic.  The way I understand it, Wizards work very hard not 
to "contaminate" the Muggle world.
