I think Mrs. Black must be a Black by birth as well as by marriage.  
The probability is that she married a cousin, which is likely quite 
common among pure-blood families.  This would enable her to talk 
proprietorially about the Noble House of Black if she actually was 
born into it, rather than married into it.
