My (Brightly Woven's) reply:

What a great catch everyone.  The tone of the musical is very Harry 
Potter, I think, with ghosts creeping around everywhere and such.

One additional detail, although the song _is_ about Mary, the niece, 
in the book it is the son, Colin, who has his dead mother's eyes.  

Looking forward to your filk, Margaret.  It's always great to read 
them, especially when one knows the tune and can sing along (i Keep 
thinking I should get a copy of _1776_ so that I can enjoy those 
filks!!).
