No, I still believe that Severus is a pureblood wizard.
Again, he is too shrewd and cunning to call Lily a mudblood, and have 
the insult thrown back at him.
Also, I believe that the parents of all the other Slytherin students 
would highly object to having a half-blood, or mudblood as head of 
Slytherin house - it would have to be someone that they, and the 
students could respect - someone who fits the Slytherin ideology 
perfectly. And before you coment about Voldemort being a half-blood - 
remember Bellatrix's reaction at the DoM.
