My guess is that ten year old Mark doesn't just have green eyes... He 
might very well have red hair too! After all, he is an Evans :-) 
(Some time ago I wrote a fanfic where Mark is one of the characters; 
and he has of course cheeky green eyes and thick, dark red hair :-)
