We know James was in Gryffindor.  In the O.W.L.S. chapter of OOP, 
Ron is messing with his hair reminding Harry of "another Gryffindor

I tried to reply to the sender, but my email was returned as that 
yahoo address was listed as no longer valid.  So, I'm replying on 
the list.

The person who emailed me did not read the post (#86108) they were 
responding to correctly.  I was not the one who wrote that all MWPP 
were in Slytherin; that was Joj, whom I credited in my original 
post.  

I also believe that MWPP were all in Gryffindor and my reasons for 
this are contained in my original post #86108.
