What jumped out at me reading your post is the room of requirement, 
which we have met twice now (first as the Chamber Pot room), which 
usually indicates importance...  suppose LV does make his way inside 
Hogwarts (again), and Harry runs by the room of requirement 3 times 
while REQUIRING a way to vanquish LV for good????
