Now you're beng difficult on purpose Kneasy :-) I'd have to agree 
with Kathryn on this one: Sirius plan wasn't that bad: They were in a 
desperate situation, people in the Order died like flies all around 
them. Sirius's brave plan might've bought James and Lily some more 
time. That is, IF Peter hadn't been a traitor. Sure, maybe Sirius 
would have been forced to tell Voldie that Peter was the secret 
keeper under the influence of the imperio curse or veritaserum, but; 
he would have been able to prolong James and Lily's lives, if only 
just for a few hours by making Voldie chase him first... And as we 
all know, a few hours might be the difference between life and death 
when you're stalked by a maniac: You might be able to flee the hiding 
place; get help somewhere else, or whatever.
