Durmstrang in Scandinavia?

Let me add that a similar surname, "Durkee", is of Slavic origin:
"DURKEE :
Slavic, derived from a nickname for a stupid, dull, or foolish 
individual."

The meaning is the same as the one for "Dur", so maybe  
our "Durmstrang" is a mix of Slavic and Norwegian names?
