I'd even take it a step further and say that Harry also has a
significant amount of Slytherin blood and that Harry is distantly
related to the Weasleys.
I believe the pureblood/squib/mudblood thing is a misconception that
will turn out to be a major theme. My own take is that everybody has
*some* magical power but that most people don't know about it and
wouldn't bother with it if they did, since in this day and age there
are more efficient ways of doing things.
So it is possible that Lily has the Slytherin blood. And maybe *she*
is distantly related to Molly. And maybe the Dumbledores... (The Red-
Headed League).
