I think:
This actually leads right into what I've been thinking about or
prediciting about book five. I'm not particulary worried as much
about what's going to happen at Hogwarts because after how GoF
ended. I believe that the kids are relatively save at Hogwarts
compared to how the rest of the muggle-borns are at home. I
don't believe LV will wait until the school year begins again to
strike again. For some reson I believe that the real action will
start in book five in the summer. I predict that LV and the Death
Eaters, especially Mr Malfoy, Mr Crabbe, and Mr Goyle will start
attacts again against muggles but instead not against just regular
muggles on the streets, they will attack the parents of muggle born
students at Hogwarts.
The MOMs rules against magic in the summer has always seems to
be more of a red herring in the book.- Why was it there and always
emphasized unless it was going to have more importance? It was never
really held against Harry in PoA when you thought he would get in
trouble. It's kind of like the repeated use of the "no apperating on
Hogwart's grounds", it has to show up in a later book because it
keeps getting repeated so much. I figure the summer would be a great
time to attack muggle born parents because the students afraid of
being brought up by the MoM would sit by and not know what to do.
I haven't quite figured out what LV and Co. would do with the
muggle born parents. Maybe put them ( the parent's) and even the
students under the Imperio curse? Maybe Moody teaching them (the
fourth year students ) to fight the curse on GoA will backfire him
later on.
I've always predicted that Trelawney's first prediction was that
James Potter's son would unite the muggles and the wizarding world.
I figure that it had to be something so threatening to LV that would
cause LV to attempt to try and kill a 1 year old baby. Knowing LV's
contempt for muggle-borns I can see attacking their parent's at their
houses as a next step since is CoS he failed at attacking them at the
safety of Hogwarts.
As a newcomer to this board I know you have probably discussed
Trelawney's prediction before but after the Twin's and the trio's
attack of Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle on the train I'm sure that their
parents, the wonderful, forgiving citizens that they are,(LOL) are
not just going to let it go until fall and leave it at that.
