What fascinates me about the Bloody Baron is not that the blood is
silvery but the fact that he's bloody at all! We can assume that
NHN's death was pretty bloody in itself, so why no mention of his
bloody ruffles? And, IIRC Nick can even change his ruffle if he
wishes, so why didn't the Baron ever bother to change his ghostly
garb?

Now me:

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I always assumed it was
unicorn blood. That's why it still appeared after death and was silvery. I
don't have much to back this claim up. I'm not even sure where I got the
assumption, but the thought stayed with me without question. It's kind of
like when I was young my mother told me to eat the crust of my bread because
it is the healthyest part, and I thought that was true till one random day
at the age of 19 I actually thought about and realized that made no sense.
Ok, on a tagent now.
