I agree that both of these are Evil, but I disagree about Pettigrew. If you 
are evil and have a backbone, you can be redeemed, because you've got the 
inner strength to make a hard decision, stick with it, and accept the risks, 
disadvantages, loss of face, etc. that may result from being redeemed. Like 
Snape. I suppose it's *possible* that Pettigrew could develop such traits, 
but he became evil in the first place because he was a miserable coward, who 
wouldn't take a risk for *anything,* not even his friends' lives.

And about the Lestranges: do we know they haven't killed yet? I'm at work, 
so I don't have the books to hand, but I think I remember that they were 
involved in a lot of Muggle torturings and deaths.
