Me:
Right after they meet, Hagrid tells Harry about how Quirrel had returned from
his year in the field with his nervous condition, and it was during that year
that Quirrel encountered Voldemort (according to Voldemort), so Quirrel must
have been wearing the turban ever since then. Now that I think about it, I
wonder who the DADA professor was the year that Quirrel took off.

Me:
Regarding the Weasley twins, if either of them is going to die, it would be
much more poignant if one dies and one lives, maybe too poignant. I hope
they both pull through, but I really don't think they will both die. I've
been wondering how many deaths JKR has planned. She implies that there was a
lot of carnage during the first reign of Voldemort, and now in this sort of
second coming, we had Cedric offed already before Voldemort even got his body
back. Then again, we have only had a rumor of one major death in the next
book, or "hard to write" death, which I assume means one of the main
characters.
