I have to agree with Jo Serenadust!

Hermione's core personality is still pretty much the same.
She hasn't turned into a suddenly patient,
non-argumentative, all around perfect young woman yet, and
probably never will (except in many fanfics).

She's still pushy and abrasive, and hasn't become Miss
Popularity, yet.

And why would we want her to change so much, anyhow?
It's what I like about JKR's writing. Her characters are
more real, because they *don't* always do and say the right
things for the situation.
