Ron and Percy. I don't want to think Ron would turn evil, but who
knows? He did have some questionable moments in GoF.

spell that right?) just like I don't know what to think about Ron
right now.

Lupin and Snape. I know I'm being bold trusting Lupin, but I think
now that Sirius is back (kind of, to Dumbledore and his group at
least) I think he's good. Sirius is the only childhood friend he
still has, and I don't think he would betray him. And I trust that
Lucius Malfoy is an obnoxious, muggle-hating, Death Eater.

die, but he wouldn't intentionally do anything evil. He has too much
respect for Dumbledore and too much love for the trio to do anything
like that.

I will jump. I do trust Ron also. I think the conflict in this book
will come from known sources (just my feeling). I also think that
the red herring will be that one of these people we think to be good
looks bad, but is proven good in the end (how's that for optimistic?).

As for Hagrid, he's got two things against him. Every book since
book 1, either Fudge or the Malfoys have tried to lay blame on him
and get him out of the picture. It seems a foregone conclusion that
something like that will happen again. The other thing he has
against him is his innate goodness and love - it seems to be begging
for his demise in the literary symbolism sense. I agree that he
would never do anything evil.
