I don't think she's a background character at all. She
was important in CoS,plus there's something about her
being the only girl in a family of boys. She seems to
have comradiery (spell much?)in Hermione, and we know
how strongthe Weasley women are!

Who will die?  I think Hagrid is safe, but I think
Molly Weasley, 
(Ron's mother), is in big trouble.

Everyone's very worked up on the idea that a Weasley
will die aren't they!? It *could* be a Weasley (my
money's on Percy)but I had a thought that I'm sure has
ben realised by others-if Dumbledore died, it would
split the place open for Voldemort. Chaos reigns..!!
Draco could die, that would send Lucius rampant and
fling him into the plot more prominantly, but JKR said
it was a hard death to write and that she didn't enjoy
it, so I guess it's someone we hold dear.....Hagrid
won't die, he's Harry's comforter (and
secret-slipper!).
