And is the main female in any book really "the heroine"?
Does HP have Harry, the hero, and Hermione, the heroine, and
all the other characters are supporting cast?
Or is it Ron and Harry, the heroes and Hermione, the
heroine?
If HP has a hero, I always put Harry in that position, with
Ron and Hermione as equal friends and "sidekicks",
supporting Harry.
I really don't see Hermione as the heroine of the HP
universe. Am I wrong?
And since she's the most developed female in the HP universe
and I'm a female reader, should I identify with her?
Because I don't.
I seem to identify with different characters, depending on
the circumstances and the characters behavior.
*Sometimes* it is Hermione, other times Ron or Harry,
Neville, Ginny, Molly, Dumbledore...
