Well, in the U.S. version of PoA, the letter carried by Pig says that 
Sirius took the money for the Firebolt from "my own Gringott's 
vault." There is no mention of the vault's number.  Perhaps it's an 
editing error and the vault number should have been mentioned as a 
clue to mysteries that will be solved later in the series.  But, 
maybe this is just a weird editing thing of no consequence.
