Hello bboy_mn at yahoo.com,

In reference to your comment:

è Now there could be the Magic equivalent of a warp
è jump. That is you combine flying and apparation, so
è you take off like the Starship Enterprise, kick it into
è warp drive and enter a whole new dimension of travel.
è Get to Bristol, kick off the magic warp drive, and fly to
è Surrey.

I suppose I always thought that Hagrid's method of travel was somewhat like
the Knightbus. He gets where he needs to be, but possibly doesn't go via the
best route? There is also the fact that Hagrid was on a flying motorbike.
Mission to take Harry to the Dursely's or no, that in itself is reason enough
for Hagrid to, eh, prolong the time the air a bit? I certainly thik I would.

On Hagrid's ability to car for a one headed child- I think Hagrid is
perfectly capable of doing so. We have seen Hagrid with, well, maternal
instinct. ( read- Norbert) And, I do not think I would hesitate to leave a
child with him.

-Snuffles, who thinks Hagrid is a great Mummy.

"All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty
recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the
dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with
open eyes, to make it possible. This I did." T.E. Lawrence- Seven Pillars of
Wisdom
