Did he sound too convincing? Good. It's easy to assume that the Dark siders
are irrational, moustache-twirling, psychotics. But that's not the way they
would have attracted a following.
Think of Albus Dumbledore by comparison. Would he have been convinced? Of
course not! Dumbledore has _compassion_. He knows that there are thousands
(if not millions) of wizards who have close Muggle relatives whom they love.
_That_ is the strength of the "good guys" - and, I think, part of the reason
that Dumbledore defeated him...
An interesting little exercise, though!
